Government departments and public institutions have once been a perfect choice for the majority of college graduates clue to the handsome income and steady-for-life position.
In recent years, many graduating students feel the pressure of getting jobs in the wake of increased admission by institutes of higher learning and a cut in the number of staffs with government institutions.
It is a welcome trend that many college graduates have altered their reluctance in working in small and medium-sized enterprises and gained great confidence in building their own businesses. New attitude towards employment will create greater access to employment. Though public institutions attract graduates with a stable job and handsome income, they have a stiff system which may disappoint some graduates. It is predictable that small and medium-sized enterprises will win favor of more college graduates with an improved social security system and flexible work environment.
